Celis chasing full-time F1 drive

Having put in his first run at a grand prix weekend in Bahrain, Alfonso Celis Jr says he wants to use his track-time to prove he deserves a 2017 drive. Alfonso joined Force India in 2015 and took part in the end of season Abu Dhabi test before having the honour of debuting the VJM09 at Barcelona this year. The development driver was handed another run in the new car, taking part in Friday's opening practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix. With more FP1 outings on the cards, the Mexican driver is hoping to use his running to secure a full-time F1 ride.
