Vandoorne Praises Alonso Input

Bahrain Grand Prix – Stoffel Vandoorne was pleased with the help received from Fernando Alonso during his first free practice sessions in Formula One. Due to the injuries sustained by Fernando Alonso during the Australian Grand Prix, the two-time world champion failed the mandatory FIA medical examination. As a result, reserve driver Stoffel Vandoorne was brought into the team to race this weekend. Speaking after the second free practice session, Vandoorne admitted that, due to the learning curve, there was understandably still some performance to find.
