Ecclestone supports call for F1 reform
Bernie Ecclestone Bernie Ecclestone has agreed with Formula 1 drivers that the sport’s governance is in need of urgent reform. The sport’s boss has responded to a letter issued by the Grand Prix Drivers' Association (GPDA) calling for change, while labelling the current governance as ‘obsolete’ and ‘ill-structured’. In a letter penned by Ecclestone to the GPDA, leaked on social media, the F1 supremo has sided with F1 drivers. The 85-year-old says F1 will consider an overhaul of its current governance and structure. “It is not always easy to agree with you but you are correct in stating that the decision making process in the sport is obsolete and ill structured,” wrote...
