Hamilton, Vettel expect closer title fight in 2016

AP Photo/Kamran Jebreili Defending Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and his predecessor Sebastian Vettel agree that the competition between their Mercedes and Ferrari teams should be a lot closer in 2016 than it has been over the past couple of seasons. Speaking ahead of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, both drivers forecast a genuine title fight instead of the domination that Mercedes had enjoyed over the opening two seasons of the V6 hybrid engine era.
