Dennis expects Vandoorne to be ‘ready’ for 2017

©Wri2 McLaren boss Ron Dennis expects Belgian hopeful Stoffel Vandoorne to be ripe to make his Formula One debut in 2017 after spending one season as the team’s reserve driver. Despite securing last year’s GP2 Series title in dominant fashion with a record seven wins, Vandoorne could not graduate straight to F1 as McLaren already had world champions Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button under contract for 2016.
