Rosberg fastest as second test begins

– Nico Rosberg set the pace on the first day of the second and final pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, despite Mercedes again using harder tyres compared to its closest rivals.Rosberg posted a best time of 1:23.022 on the Soft rubber, two tenths up on Williams driver Valtteri Bottas, who used the Ultra Softs.Fernando Alonso, restricted to just three laps as last week's test ended, enjoyed a much smoother day, despite a late-morning stoppage.Although over one-and-a-half-seconds down on pace-setter Rosberg on the same tyre, the Spaniard breezed past a race distance.Kimi Räikkönen followed in the Ferrari, a tenth down on Alonso, having stopped at the end of the...
