Hamilton unimpressed with new Pirelli tyres

Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has given an unfavourable verdict on the new Pirelli tyres, which will be used for this season. For 2016, Formula One's sole tyre supplier Pirelli will be bringing less sensitive tyres to the events. These will be less likely to ‘fall off the cliff', which is a term used to describe a dramatic drop in tyre performance when tyres come to the end of their usable life. Having spent many laps on the new tyres during testing, Hamilton gave a concise, but definite, answer when he was asked for his opinion on the new Pirelli compounds.
