Red Bulls' Kvyat: 'A step in the right direction'
Daniil Kvyat was at the wheel of the RB12 for the first time this year, and hailed the new car as a step ahead of the old car. Kvyat put in 74 laps of the Barcelona circuit on Wednesday, ending the day in P9. While the day ended early due to a recurrence of the issue that put paid to Daniel Ricciardo's day yesterday: “It was great to get back behind the wheel today and very exciting to finally drive the RB12 after what felt like a long winter break. I think we’ve made a step in the right direction so far. Everything feels like it’s in the right place, the car seems quite well balanced and the first feeling is very positive.
