Manor launches Mercedes-powered MRT05
– Manor Racing, rebranded for 2016, has unveiled its new MRT05 machine, which the team hopes will lift it off the back of the grid, following its revival in 2015.Manor joined the sport under the Virgin Racing guise in 2010 but has scored points in only one race, when the late Jules Bianchi finished ninth in the 2014 Monaco Grand Prix.It almost collapsed at the end of 2014 but was revived under the Manor Marussia moniker, though featured at the back as it ran an upgraded version of its MR03 with 2014-spec Ferrari engines.For the 2016 season, Manor has switched to current-year Mercedes power units and embarked on a technical collaboration with Williams, in a bid to move towards the...
