Hamilton mocks Vettel for boring jibe
Lewis Hamilton has laughed off Sebastian Vettel's claim that Mercedes' dominance of Formula 1 is contributing to the sport's 'lack of excitement'. In an interview on his personal website, Vettel criticised the way F1 has become too obsessed with 'detail' and technology, adding that Mercedes' advantage over the competition for the past two seasons has also had a detrimental effect on the sport's reputation. It's an assessment that Hamilton, title winner in 2014 and 2015, is left bemused by, pointing out his two titles come hot on the heels of Vettel's four-in-a-row. “It's pretty funny because he had four years of it and I've only had two,” the three-time champion told SkySports F1....
