Haas confirm passing of F1 crash tests

The new-for-2016 American Formula 1 team Haas have announced that its first F1 car passed the mandatory FIA crash tests, moving another step closer to its F1 debut this season. Entering a partnership with Ferrari has enabled the team to obtain listed parts and an engine from the Italian manufacturer, becoming the eleventh team on the F1 grid for 2016. Teams are only allowed to test if their cars pass the crash tests under the FIA rules, and completion of the final homologation papers will be within the next few days with the tests completed which will allow the Haas car to run.
