Former Marussia F1 cars up for auction
– Four cars formerly belonging to the Marussia Formula 1 outfit have been put up for auction by a private collector.The team's first four Formula 1 creations, the VR01 and MVR02, from its nascent days as Virgin, and the MR01 and MR02 from the Marussia era, are up for sale.The cars were used between 2010 and 2013 and John Pye Auctions says the machines are currently available for viewing at its Mayfair facility.None of the cars scored a championship point, with the MR03 – the outfit's 2014 entry – the only machine to have finished a race in the top 10 in its six-year history.Several of Marussia's assets were auctioned off last winter after it entered administration, but a further...
