Wurz rules himself out of Manor role
– Ex-Formula 1 driver Alexander Wurz has ruled himself out of a role at Manor Marussia.Wurz, a two-time winner of the prestigious Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race, will retire from competitive motorsport after this weekend's World Endurance Championship season finale in Bahrain.Team Principal John Booth and Sporting Director Graeme Lowdon will both depart Manor at the end of the campaign, with former McLaren chief Dave Ryan recently appointed as Racing Director.Wurz, who made clear in his retiring statement that his future "will still evolve around racing", was approached by Manor owner Stephen Fitzpatrick over a potential position, but has opted against it."After a...
