Wurz turns down Manor F1 offer
Former F1 driver Alexander Wurz has turned down the offer to become Manor's team principal. As revealed by Motorsport.com last weekend, owner Stephen Fitzpatrick approached Wurz about a role at the team following the news that team boss John Booth and sporting director Graeme Lowdon would leave Manor after this season. Wurz announced his retirement from racing after this weekend's round of the World Endurance Championship in Bahrain. "After a period of consideration, I have informed Stephen Fitzpatrick that I have taken the decision not to make myself available to Manor," Wurz told BBC Sport.
