Jolyon Palmer lands race seat at Lotus

United States Grand Prix – Lotus have announced that current third driver Jolyon Palmer will step up to the race squad in 2016. Palmer, who has taken part in numerous practice sessions with the Enstone team this season, has landed one of the few remaining seats in the sport by taking the second seat at Lotus. He will partner Pastor Maldonado, as Romain Grosjean departs for Haas. “I’m obviously delighted that I’ll be racing in Formula 1 next year.' said the 2014 GP2 Champion of the appointment.
