Hulkenberg rules out Le Mans defence

Nico Hulkenberg will not defend his Le Mans title next season as the endurance race clashes with Formula 1. Next season the Le Mans 24 Hours race, which this year Hulkenberg won with Porsche, will take place on the same weekend as the European Grand Prix in Baku. With his committed to F11 and Force India taking priority, Hulkenberg concedes he won't be able to defend the title. 'I am committed to F1,' he said. 'That is my main job, my main target here. 'It [the calendar clash] is something out of my hands, out of my control. 'We will have to go with what they decide and accept it, I am afraid.'
