Alexander Rossi impresses on debut by beating Will Stevens

Singapore Grand Prix – Alexander Rossi's F1 debut couldn't have gone much better, as the American driver brought his car home ahead of teammate Will Stevens. While the weekend didn't get off to a great start for the first US driver to race since Scott Speed after Rossi hit the barriers in FP1, he recovered well throughout the weekend. Edged out in qualifying by Will Stevens, Rossi ended up coming home P14 ahead of Stevens in the race. He was 14 seconds clear at the chequered flag despite two safety car interventions, and set a fastest race lap 0.5 seconds clear of what Stevens managed. “My Formula 1 debut has been a long time coming, but today has been pretty special.' said Rossi...
