Upgraded Mercedes dominate Monza FP1
CLICK HERE for the full Italian Grand Prix FP1 times Mercedes has stamped its mark on proceedings in first free practice for the Italian Grand Prix, with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg a clear 1-2 at Monza. Making use of an upgraded Mercedes engine this season, which has been revised with use of all seven of its in-season development tokens, Hamilton and Rosberg quickly set about establishing themselves out front and remained there until the chequered flag. Hamilton was the faster of the two by a fair margin, his lap of 1min 24.670secs almost half-a-second faster than main title rival Rosberg.
