Lotus makes the journey to Monza

Lotus will race at the Italian Grand Prix despite concerns it wouldn't be able to make the journey as legal issues continue to loom. Having been initially prevented from leaving Spa-Francorchamps – where it took its first podium finish since 2013 in the Belgian Grand Prix – after bailiffs moved in as a result of a legal action brought by former reserve driver Charles Pic, the cars eventually made it back to Enstone. Though there was concern that the cars would then not be permitted to travel onto Monza, Lotus is present in Italy but remains very much in focus, in part due to its well documented financial problems, but also its potential sale to Renault which would ultimately prevent it...
