Nico Rosberg calls for tyre safety measure changes

Belgian Grand Prix – Mercedes' Nico Rosberg says that a solution needs to be found in order to prevent further tyre failures after two scary explosions during the Belgian weekend. Nico Rosberg was a victim of a tyre failure in Friday practice that sent his W06 flying off the circuit at Blanchimont – one of the fastest corners on the circuit. He didn't hit anything, but the failure could have had more serious consequences had it let go at a different location. During Sunday's race, Sebastian Vettel had just cleared the Eau Rouge/Radillion sequence of corners when his right rear tyre exploded.
