Grosjean gets gearbox penalty
Romain Grosjean's mood was slightly dampened after qualifying at the Belgian GP as he has been handed a grid penalty for a gearbox change. The Lotus driver produced his and the team's best qualifying display of the 2015 season as he was fourth fastest behind the Mercedes cars of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, and the Williams of Valtteri Bottas. However, he will drop five place on the grid as the Lotus squad changed the E23's gearbox, which was damaged after his car suffered a loss of power at the end of FP2 on Friday. The second Lotus of Pastor Maldonado was eighth fastest in qualifying, but will move up to P7 as a result of Grosjean's penalty.
