Jules Bianchi passes away aged 25
– The family of Jules Bianchi have announced in a statement that the Frenchman passed away in hospital in Nice on Friday night, nine months after his accident at the 2014 Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix.Bianchi suffered a diffuse axonal injury after his Marussia collided with a recovery vehicle, which was tending to a stricken car at Suzuka.Bianchi remained in a coma and despite initial hope, the Frenchman's family said earlier in the week that hope was fading.Bianchi's family confirmed his passing on Saturday morning."It is with deep sadness that the parents of Jules Bianchi, Philippe and Christine, his brother Tom and sister Mélanie, wish to make it known that Jules passed away...
