Ricciardo, Sainz halted by suspected electrical problem

Red Bull/Getty Images Daniel Ricciardo says an electrical problem in his Red Bull RB11 ended his British Grand Prix as his difficult string of races continued at Silverstone. Ricciardo was running inside the top 10 when he suffered a loss of power, before ultimately retiring from the race. Ricciardo's retirement means he has scored just a single point across the last three races. "I was really optimistic and excited for this weekend but it didn’t work out for us on the day," said Ricciardo. "We suffered an electrical problem which forced us to retire.
