Another day, another Renault issue

Daniel Ricciardo's optimism turned to disappointment when he was forced to retire from the British GP with an electrical engine failure. Ricciardo and his Red Bull Racing team have been dogged by various engine issues throughout this season and it was more of the same on Sunday. Starting 10th the grid the Aussie had hoped for a good showing but instead found himself parking his RB11 on lap 22. 'I was really optimistic and excited for this weekend but it didn't work out for us on the day,' he said. 'We suffered an electrical problem which forced us to retire.
