Gasly handed another Red Bull test chance
Pierre Gasly will get more time behind the wheel of an F1 car in Austria after being called up by Red Bull to drive at the in-season test. The Frenchman had his first ever drive in an F1 car at a similar test in Barcelona last month with Scuderia Toro Rosso, before stepping into the Red Bull for the second day. For this test, Gasly is confirmed as driving for Red Bull – alongside Daniel Ricciardo -, though Toro Rosso is yet to announce if it will run him again. Part of Red Bull's junior development programme, Gasly is currently competing with DAMS in the GP2 Series.
