Imola suggests proposal to share Italian GP
The Italian Grand Prix could be shared between the Imola and Monza circuits according to Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone. A possible alternation between the two venues has emerged as speculation grows surrounding the future of event, which has been on the F1 calendar since its inaugural season. Keen for the event to remain on the schedule, Ecclestone has opened talks with Imola circuit bosses this week, who have suggested a proposal to share the race with Monza as a way of reducing the hosting costs.
