Optimistic Bottas hopes to battle Ferrari
– Valtteri Bottas says he is hopeful that Williams will provide a stronger challenge to Ferrari at this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix as it bids to bounce back from a sub-par Monaco showing.Neither Bottas nor team-mate Felipe Massa scored points in Monaco but the Finn is confident that minor upgrades, allied to the high-speed nature of the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, will aid Williams."Tyre warm up has always been quite tricky here but it's nowhere near as much as Monaco, [on] long straights you can get high speed and do different things to warm the tyres," he told reporters in Canada."We expect to be pretty competitive here, it depends whether others have improved or...
