Hamilton: 'This is incredibly special for me'
Lewis Hamilton has hailed as 'special' his first pole position on the streets of Monte Carlo.Hamilton, who won the race here in 2008, took pole position by 0.4 seconds, a job made easier by a crucial error from Nico Rosberg on his final qualifying run. This means that today was Lewis Hamilton's 9th attempt at taking the most important pole position of the year, a feat he managed with a laptime of 1.15.098. 'It's been a long, long time! I can't express to you how happy I am. It wasn't an easy session, I had a lot of things that kind of throw you off your rhythm, which it did. I didn't have the rhythm until the last two laps. So I am really really happy with it and coming across the line...
