Disappointment for Force India after double Q1 elimination
It was a very disappointing afternoon in the sun for the Sahara Force India as Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez were eliminated from qualifying in the first eighteen-minute session at the Circuit de Catalunya. Hulkenberg was disappointed with his qualifying after finishing twelfth in final practice, but felt he was hindered by the increased wind on Saturday afternoon. Despite his seventeenth place on the grid, he feels he can fight for a better finish in the race on Sunday after feeling his race pace is on par with that of the teams ahead of them on the grid.
