Ricciardo: Renault updates look promising
Daniel Ricciardo says the steps Renault has taken to improve the power unit look promising and should help to get more mileage out of them. Though he has finished every race this season, the Australian will use his fourth engine this weekend after his third one failed as he crossed the finish line in Bahrain. “Steps have been made to not let that happen again, or at least get more mileage out of the engine before it does that,” Ricciardo explained. “They’re confident that they’ve pushed the mileage quite a long way.
