Mouton unconvinced by all-female series
– Michèle Mouton, the President of the FIA's Women in Motorsport Commission, is unconvinced that Bernie Ecclestone's idea of an all-female championship would be a suitable move.Ecclestone told British media at the Malaysian Grand Prix that such a series would give women "a showcase", and "attract a lot of attention and publicity and probably a lot of sponsors"."We have to start somewhere so I suggested to the teams that we have a separate championship and maybe that way, we will be able to bring someone through to F1," he went on to explain.But Mouton, a former rally driver, is wary of the concept given her previous experience."The idea of an...
