Sauber: Good prospects for a positive result
The first qualifying of the new season went well for the Sauber F1 Team in Melbourne. On the Albert Park circuit Felipe Nasr just missed out on Q3 and was 11th. Marcus Ericsson didn’t feel confident in the car and finished 16th. Marcus Ericsson (car number 9): Sauber C34-Ferrari (Chassis 02/Ferrari) Qualifying: 16th in Q1 (1:31.376 min / soft tyres) 3rd practice: 12th (1:30.613 min / soft tyres / 21 laps) “It was a disappointing session for me being P16, and we cannot be satisfied with this result.
