Court rejects Sauber Appeal
+ The Victorian Supreme Court has dismissed an appeal by Sauber to overturn the decision to uphold Giedo van der Garde’s claim that a contract had been broken between himself and the Swiss outfit to race in 2015. 'We did not consider this course (the appeal) to be in the interest of justice” said a statement read out in court at 4:30pm this afternoon. The statement further read: 'The appeal is dismissed because we see no error in the reasons of the trial judge… As the judge observed, these events are highly-regulated and we are sure that all safety requirements will be complied with.'
