Rosberg dominates for Mercedes, as McLaren clears a century
+ Nico Rosberg set the pace for Mercedes on the second day of the final pre-season test in Barcelona, as McLaren racked up the mileage. Rosberg dominated the timesheets with a lap of 1:22.792 – the best time set at the Circuit de Catalunya during testing – recorded on a set of the soft Pirelli tyres. The 2014 runner-up ended the day with 103 laps on the board, and 1.2 seconds clear of Valtteri Bottas at the top of the leaderboard as Mercedes flexed its muscle. Bottas completed 90 laps for Williams on route to second, with a best lap of 1:23.995 on the medium tyres, ahead of Felipe Nasr, who topped the morning session at the wheel of the soft Pirelli shod Sauber C34.
