Rosberg alarmed by German GP uncertainty

Nico Rosberg has expressed his disappointment that there is no guarantee his home German Grand Prix will go ahead in 2015 as doubts over its future grow. Having already confirmed the race will be held at the Hockenheimring, rather than the Nurburgring as originally scheduled, a letter from Bernie Ecclestone to the venue appeared to suggest the event will be dropped altogether. The German Grand Prix has come under particular scrutiny recently over financial concerns and falling spectator numbers, despite the relative dominance of Germany in F1 in recent years with Mercedes, Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel.
