Hamilton picks up four BRDC awards
– Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton picked up four trophies during the 2014 British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC) awards at London's Grand Connaught Rooms on Monday afternoon.The Mercedes driver, who beat team-mate Nico Rosberg to this year's title, won the premier BRDC Gold Star award, along with the Richard Seaman, Graham Hill and Johnny Wakefield trophies.Other Formula 1-related winners were Daniel Ricciardo, who collected the Bruce McLaren and Innes Ireland trophies, and Mercedes technical chief Paddy Lowe, who took home the Sir Jackie Stewart award.BRDC Gold Star:The strongest performance of the year by a member in international motorsportRichard Seaman Trophy:The winner of...
