Super Licence rules tweaked for 2016

– The FIA has announced that its Super Licence qualification rules will be tightened up from 2016.Under the new format, drivers would need to hold a valid driving licence, be 18 or over and have knowledge of Formula 1's sporting regulations to qualify.The driver must also have at least two years of experience in junior categories, where their success will be rated on a results-based points system.Concerns over the ease at which drivers could obtain a Super Licence were raised following Toro Rosso's decision to hire Max Verstappen for 2015.The Dutchman, who was just 16 at the time of the announcement, will make the step up aged 17 and with only one single-seater season to his name.
