Ousted Vergne targets switch to IndyCar
– Toro Rosso outcast Jean-Éric Vergne says he is setting his sights on a switch to IndyCar for the 2015 Season.Vergne finished in 13th place in the Formula 1 Championship in his third year with Toro Rosso in 2014 but lost his seat as Red Bull opted to place Carlos Sainz Jr. alongside Max Verstappen for next year.While revealing that he still has options to remain in Formula 1, Vergne says that a move to IndyCar could aid his career."I would be really interested in racing in America in IndyCar; I think it's a great Championship," he told Racer.
