Abu Dhabi GP gets F1 contract extension

+ Organisers for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix have signed a new deal which will see the event remain on the Formula 1 calendar beyond 2016. The Yas Marina circuit debuted on the calendar in 2009, but with its former deal set to expire at the end of 2016, a new contract has been inked which will see the circuit remain on the calendar for the foreseeable future. “This race and the Yas Marina Circuit has introduced Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates to tens of millions of visitors and TV viewers from around the world,” said H.E.
