Marussia to run one car in Sochi

Marussia has announced it will only run one car during this weekend's Russian Grand Prix out of respect for Jules Bianchi's. With Bianchi seriously injured in the Japanese Grand Prix five days ago, Marussia was undecided on whether it would compete at all in Sochi. Having named Alexander Rossi alongside Max Chilton on the FIA entry list – allowing the team to keep all options open – it has now decided it will only field Chilton this weekend. "The Team feels strongly that fielding a single car, that of driver number 4, Max Chilton, is the appropriate course of action under the difficult circumstances of the weekend," Marussia said in a statement.
