Hugo Boss ditch McLaren for Mercedes

Kevin Magnussen with Hugo Boss branding on his McLaren seatbelts McLaren are paying the price for below par performances over the past couple of seasons, now with German fashion brand Hugo Boss announcing a partnership with Formula 1 championship-leading Mercedes team next year, ending a decades-long association with the Woking outfit. 'With Mercedes-Benz and Hugo Boss formally intensifying their existing co-operations earlier this year, extending the partnership into the brand's Formula One team was a logical progression,' Mercedes said in a statement on Wednesday.
