FIA revises radio ban to driver performance

The FIA has revised its plans to restrict radio messages from this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The sport's governing body had planned to impose strict implementation of Article 20.1 of the sporting regulations, which states that "the driver must drive the car alone and unaided." This was set to include messages related to the performance of the car, but after meeting with teams in Singapore, the FIA opted to restrict prohibited pit-to-car radio messages to just driver performance information, with a ban on other messages to instead be delayed until 2015.
