Perez sure of fighting McLaren

Sahara Force India Sergio Perez says he is confident that Force India can beat McLaren at this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix and re-claim fifth place in the Constructors' championship. Perez edged out former team-mate Jenson Button in the battle for seventh position at Monza and the two squads are now separated in the teams' title race by just a single point, with McLaren ahead of Force India. Perez is sure that an upgrade package on the VJM07 will allow Force India to pass McLaren. "We are really optimistic for this weekend," he said.
