Ricciardo hails 'best ever' third place

Red Bull/Getty Images An elated Daniel Ricciardo called his podium position at the British Grand Prix the 'best third place' of his career. Ricciardo started from eighth on the grid but switched to prime tyres under the red flag period and stopped just once more as he resisted late pressure from Jenson Button. "I feel good! This is the best third place I've ever got," he said. "I'm not normally ecstatic with a third but I really am today, obviously to redeem myself from yesterday and also the fact that I don’t think we had an awesome race car today, but we made it work.
