Massa struggles following early crash

Felipe Massa admitted his early crash caused him to struggle during the whole of Friday practice for the British Grand Prix. After Susie Wolff had already stopped on track with an oil pressure problem, Massa soon crashed at Stowe to rule both cars out of FP1. The incident meant a number of parts Massa had used in Austria were damaged and he had to revert to previous versions, and he said the knock-on effect was a tough second session. “It was for sure not a very positive day for me because of the crash,” Massa said. “So I am very disappointed to have that crash starting the session.
