Vettel fails to deliver in qualifying in Red Bull's home race

Sebastian Vettel’s season took an embarrassing turn at the Austrian Grand Prix after he was eliminated in the second leg of the qualifying session on Saturday while his teammate Daniel Ricciardo continued to deliver. The four time defending world champion was out-qualified by Ricciardo, who was signed by Red Bull this season, for the sixth time in eight Grands Prix in front of the team’s home race at the Red Bull Ring. Ricciardo will start fifth while Vettel qualified 13th, but will be promoted by one place on the grid on Sunday owing to Force India driver Sergio Perez’s penalty.
