Lowe: No team orders the only way

– Mercedes says it owed it to Formula 1 to allow Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to battle freely for victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix. The team-mates exchanged positions on multiple occasions during the 57-lap encounter, with Hamilton ultimately coming out on top. And despite their commanding advantage over the rest of the field, Mercedes Executive Director Paddy Lowe has made clear that the team never thought about imposing team orders on its drivers.
