A day of two halves for Hamilton in Australia

Despite completing just half a lap in first practice for the Australian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton says it has been a largely positive start to his 2014 season. The Brit's car stopped out on track in the opening stages of Friday's first session after a sensor calibration problem caused his engine to shut down. However, he managed to recover well in the second session, setting the fastest time and completing 37 laps at the wheel of the Mercedes W05. 'It really was a day of two halves today,' he said.
