Maldonado: E22 has 'huge potential'

Despite the Lotus E22 proving to be the least reliable of winter testing, Pastor Maldonado believes the Renault-powered machine has 'huge' potential. The Venezuelan driver recently said his move to Lotus was the 'best decision ever' after three seasons at Williams. He is settling into his new team well and is looking forward to tackling the Albert Park Circuit at this weekend's 2014 season opener in Australia. 'I think the potential of the E22 is huge,' he said. 'We just need to work harder than the other teams, even though time is against us. I think the car is good and it will only get better.
