Newey the latest to condemn double points

Red Bull chief designer Adrian Newey is the latest figure in Formula One to criticise the double points rule. According to Newey, awarding more points for a victory at one race is an 'artificial' concept akin to professional wrestling. "It's a personal view, but I'm not a fan of it at all," Newey told Autosport.
